The Clinical Research Unit ( CRU ) is the gateway for academic researchers to connect and collaborate with UNSW ' s rich ecosystem of expertise and infrastructure .
Operating on a partnership model across the UNSW network and beyond , CRU aims to work together with researchers to shape the future of medicine through transformative clinical research and trials .
CRU supports clinical researchers across all project stages with operational and academic expertise to conduct high quality and impactful research efficiently and in accordance with national and international best practice guidelines ( ICH-GCP ).
Committed to building on its strong reputation in clinical research , CRU offers comprehensive support throughout the entire grant application process from acceptance and establishment of grants , managing post-award activities , overseeing project closure and facilitating reporting .
Complemented by systems and tools including Standard Operating Procedures and Data Management , CRU is able to conduct innovative research such as large scale platform and adaptive clinical trials now and into the future .
