Capital W is UNSW ' s premier women in business society dedicated to developing , inspiring , and empowering the talented women of today to become the future business leaders of tomorrow since 2007 .
Capital W hosts events ranging from small , intimate workshops to large-scale networking events consisting of over 200 attendees that help students expand their corporate networks and develop their workplace-related soft skills . Additionally , Capital W has a strong philanthropic presence with strong ties to local and international non-for-profits and charity-focused initiatives .
HOW WE ADD VALUE
We are proud to have built a network of over 4,500 students , in a diverse range of faculties from STEM , Law , Business and more , and have the privilege of partnering with over 30 of Australia ’ s leading firms in 2023 including Amazon , UBS , Bain & Co , Goldman Sachs , Adobe , EY , Bloomberg and more .

Capital W hosts 3 Annual Flagship Events , International Women ' s Day Breakfast ( Inter-University Collaboration with a Panel and Networking ), Annual Dinner ( Rotational Networking and Keynote Speech ) and Beyond Mentoring Program ( 1-on-1 Mentoring with a Sponsor over a few months ). Additionally , we create and run new events each month like Tech-Focused Case Competitions , Sponsor-Guided Case Cracks , Investment Banking Informational sessions , Paint & Sip socials and more !
