Louise is an Education Focussed academic who leads the EF program. She teaches a range of Science courses from large( 1000 students) to small senior courses( 30 students) and to students in both the basic sciences and in professional degrees. She has previously served as Director of Teaching in the School of BABS. She is a Senior fellow of Advance HE and a Fellow of the UNSW Scientia Education Academy, and has been the recipient of nine teaching awards, including a National Teaching Excellence Award in 2014.
Jamie supports the EF Communities of Practice in the EF program. Her interest in education began as a school teacher and has developed to focus on supporting learning and teaching in higher education. Research interests include the role of communities of practice in higher education and international security.
Collins Fleischner is the project manager of the EF program. He has worked in higher education and the non-profit sector in Australia and the UK. Research interests include higher education policy, equity in higher education and education focussed roles.
Iwan Kelaiah is the Full-Stack Web and Educational Developer of the EF program. He loves working on education experience, webtechnologies, UX design, programming, with a good dose of piano, violin, bamboo flute( 笛子) and guitar. Currently, he is responsible for( 1) developing custom solutions for enhancing strategic decision making of the EF Team,( 2) creating and maintaining web pages for supporting learning and teaching, and( 3) providing support in leveraging educational technologies.
Tuhina is a senior communications officer with the EF program. She has broad-based experience in communication, strategy and stakeholder engagement in higher ed, not-for-profits, governance and media. She also has over five years of experience in corporate law and has worked in different contexts in Australia and overseas. Tuhina is responsible for developing and driving a communications strategy for the EF program with an emphasis on engagement and transformational change. Her academic interests lie in the areas of intersectional feminism and cultural diversity.
Josh is a Project Officer in the EF program and facilitates funding opportunities and professional development activities for the EF Community. He has a PhD in molecular biology and a background in biotechnology, entrepreneurship and the Higher Education environment. Josh is currently completing an MBA and has a keen interest in Higher Education strategy as well as the development and application of emerging technologies to enhance pedagogical best practice in the tertiary education sector.
