Challenge
Dementia is the second leading cause of death in Australia. More than 430,000 Australians live with dementia, with this number set to double by 2050. Yet dementia isn’ t inevitable – up to 45 % of cases could be prevented or delayed through life-course changes to modifiable risk factors.
Solution
CogDrisk translates decades of dementia research into a practical prevention tool. It combines validated medical and lifestyle risk factors into an evidence-based assessment, producing individualised risk profiles and tailored recommendations that align with clinical guidelines.
Reports are designed for easy integration into health care consultations, enabling guidelinedriven discussions about dementia prevention.
With its accessible interface, CogDRisk empowers individuals, supports clinicians with evidence-based guidance and offers a scalable, sustainable strategy to reduce dementia risk across the population.
