Striving for the health and prosperity of all cancer survivors
Challenge
The team helps to create health systems that are responsive to the needs of people with cancer, where survivors and their communities are supported to adapt, recover and thrive, and where no one is left behind due to lack of access, resources or stigma.
Solution
Improving outcomes for all cancer survivors depends on strong interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary collaborations. Located in UNSW’ s Health Translation Hub, the centre brings together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, industry and survivors to co-design priority-driven, practical and scalable solutions.
Through strong partnerships and rapid research translation, the centre builds a sustainable, evidence-based foundation to embed survivorship care into health systems, ensuring better and fairer outcomes for people living beyond cancer in NSW and around the world.
