Challenge
Quantum sensors currently focus on sensitivity over all other qualities, which means they are expensive, fragile and difficult to manufacture.
This limits potential use in disruptive applications where cost, volume, and reliability are often more important than sensitivity.
Solution
UBIQUT enhances the capability of OLEDs, a readily manufacturable technology, to enable their use as quantum sensors. The availability of cheap robust quantum sensors will drive innovation and allow quantum technologies to be leveraged in new application areas where high-volume, low-cost sensing solutions are required.
