and make life hard for their child ... Here we teach that God chose this child for specifically for them .”
A crucial aspect of dispensing this wisdom , in Reeder ’ s eyes , is to teach the unending importance of love , specifically the love embodied by Christ .
She said , “ We have all had negative experiences ... What brings people together and teaches them to be excellent parents is the love and the love that Christ brings .” As a mother herself , Reeder understands the difficulties of the job .
“ There is no battle like motherhood ,” she said . “ Motherhood is the most underrated job in the world , but it is also the most important ... In order to help a mother , you have to learn to love them first . The mother and the baby are a package deal . You cannot love one and not the other .”
The most difficult aspect of Reeder ’ s job , in her opinion , is revealing to mothers , who are often not confident in their capacity to be mothers , that they are indeed capable of many great things .
By fundamentally altering the way that these mothers view themselves and their place in the world , Reeder believes that the positive messaging of her program and her continued dedication proves to them that , through love and understanding , all is possible .
Ultimately , though , Reeder credits her success to God and the many things that God has provided her .
She spoke of an instance where a mother was in dire need of a car seat and they prayed for the means to obtain one . The following day , Reeder opened the building to discover a brand new car seat sitting in the middle of the floor .
Via her Ring doorbell camera , she later found out that an anonymous donor dropped it off and it was placed on the floor by her landlord , who did not want it to be stolen .
In that instance and others like it , Reeder believes that her prayers and the prayers of the mothers that she serves were answered .
Reeder plans to continue her work with AA Women ’ s Service for years to come .
“ My passion is to inspire moms and encourage them ,” she said . “ The doors to AA Women ’ s Services will always be open to those in need .”
