An unlikely friendship, an incredible journey
In this beautifully shot and captivating documentary, wildlife filmmaker and National Geographic explorer Sugandhi Gadadhar uncovers the playful and resilient lives of otters in one of India’ s most rapidly changing waterways. Set in the lush wetlands and tranquil waters of the Kaveri river, the film reveals a rare view of otter family life, their survival strategies, and interactions with other species. But as pollution and destructive dynamite fishing threatens the delicate balance of their habitat, the otters, and the humans whose livelihoods also depend on the river, are often in conflict. With unprecedented access and filmed over three years, Gadadhar follows a family of otters as they face these challenges.

Discovering life in different communities away from the traditional tourist trails
Truck mechanic and motorcycle racer Guy Martin explores the past, present and future of Vietnam, to see how the country is still dealing with the effects of the controversial conflict, and how it is planning a high-tech future.
Guy has always been fascinated by Vietnam – a place that is ruled by one of the last surviving Communist governments, but has also consistently been one of the fastest growing economies in the world for the past 40 years.
The country is still defined by its 20-year civil war, and Guy traces the story of the conflict while riding his motorcycle through the jungles of the famous Ho Chi Minh Trail. His enthusiasm for engineering is the perfect guide to explain why this 10,000 mile supply line is heralded as one of the greatest pieces of war-time construction.
