Hello and welcome to this special commemorative edition magazine. UNSugarArt magazine is a fundraising tribute to the World AIDS day inspired Cake Collaboration. Several weeks ago Zawadi (The founder of UNSA) approached me asking for assistance in creating a downloadable tutorial booklet to raise funds for the BeTeamRED
cause. I suggested instead we create a magazine to showcase the incredible work of the UNSA team and Zawadi was thrilled with the idea. Together we envisioned UNSugarArt magazine.
I cannot pretend that I wasn't having night sweats about how completely out of my depth I was; Taking on the monumetal task of creating a full length magazine with a little over two weeks before the reveal deadline. Our resolve was stregthened however by the continued outpouring of work from the UNSA team and we knew we were going to give it our best shot. Collaboratively we created something that was both a fitting tribute and (we hoped) a really great read. The magazine showcases the amazing content that the collaboration members have created over the last year. UNSA members have created over 100 pieces of edible art, amazing tutorials, provided family recipes, secrets of the trade, business advice, cake decorating tips, interviews and spotlights.
I want to personally thank Zawadi and the leadership team, our generous contributors and of course the 175+ members of UNSA for their donations.
ALL profits from the magazine will be dontated to the global fund, all setup fees and costs were donated by UNSA members. We want our readers to be confident that every penny we raise from this endevour will benefit the Global Fund.
We really hope you enjoy this amazing issue, it has been a labour of love.
