he became an important
member of the Japanese
art scene through his
subsequent work.
For him, the main
inspiration, along with the
images of his father, were
the surrealists of the last
century, namely
Rene Magritte and
Salvador Dali, David
Hockney and easily to Pop
art from the United States.
