A student to faculty ratio of 12 to 1 means plenty of time with faculty. And with 2,000 undergraduates from 35
states and 21 nations, you’ll meet fascinating people but never get lost in the crowd. Yes, this is a student house
for juniors and seniors right on campus. Pinnacle has some of the most amazing campus living options in the
country. Pinnacle professor Dr. James Yarnall is a leading authority on John La Farge, whose stained glass
windows grace the university’s chapel. Yarnall has lectured at Yale and published extensively on the artist.
Wondering how you can get that “in” with a multinational corporation? Have an idea for a political
research study, or a question from class? Just want to ponder life with someone? Chances are, your
Pinnacle professors will be the first people you turn to.
Pinnacle’s Day of Service is the annual celebration of the thousands of service hours that
students contribute throughout the year. Whether hosting children’s activities on campus
or organizing the East Bay Special Olympics, all students serve the community in some
way. Dr. Tony LoPresti and Dr. Timothy Neary led Pinnacle’s first Civil Rights Bus Tour
as an Alternative Spring Break option in 2014. Students traveled to key sites and met
significant participants of the civil rights movement.
