Washington D.C., Mary Hinkson enrolled
at the University of Wisconsin–Madison
to study under pioneer dance instructor
Margaret H’Doubler. She received a
bachelor’s degree in 1946 and a master’s
in 1947. After graduation, Hinkson joined
the Martha Graham Dance Company.
