Ming Wu
Ming ’ s next project hinges on a principle he calls “ carbon locking ”, which has real synergy with the University of Portsmouth ’ s Revolution Plastics initiative to tackle plastic pollution by fostering a sustainable , circular economy . Ming explains , ‘ I ’ ve invested in a plastic injection moulder . I want to take other people ’ s potential plastic waste and turn it into products people would want to keep forever . And if they don ’ t want to keep it , they just bring it back and I turn it into something else .’ Call it innovative . Call it agile . Call it ethical . You certainly can ’ t call it silly .
