Our Student Events Team will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have about the Scarborough Campus or Scarborough as a student destination. Here some of the team give their hints and tips about how to make the most of an open day.

Think of lots of questions you want to ask on the day, and bring a pen (we will give you one, if you forget) so you can add to your list as the day goes on. And engage with the ambassadors – we care about the campus; find out why. Ailsa Carr Third year, English Literature and Language Focus on what you want – don’t just follow others around. Tom Lewis Third year, Primary Teaching Allocate a full day: it’s tempting to skip sessions to leave early, but you might miss some important information. If you’re travelling a long distance, stay overnight – it will give you the chance to experience the town as well.
