What You Need to Know Reception Open from 9 am till 3.30 pm. Please register at reception on arrival, where further information about the day will be available. Meals and refreshments Meals and refreshments will be available around the campus between 8.30 am and 3 pm. Disabled visitors Although most areas of the University are accessible, some buildings are, unfortunately, not user-friendly for those with restricted mobility. If you or your guests have any specific requirements, please phone +44 (0)1723 357227 in advance of the Open Day. Travel and parking The University is signposted by the AA. The post code, for sat nav, is YO11 3AZ. There is limited parking available on campus – therefore we advise visitors to consider using Scarborough’s park and ride schemes on the A64 and A165. The A165 park and ride service will drop you at our door. A pdf of the services’ routes and schedules is available at www.scarboroughparkandride.co.uk. Alternatively, you can use the Holbeck Hill car park which is accessible via Wheatcroft Avenue, directly opposite the campus entrance. For those who are planning on coming by train, there is a taxi rank at the station. Alternatively, visitors can take the number 7 bus from the stop at the top of the pedestrian precinct.
