Campus Investment
The University is continually investing in the Scarborough Campus to improve and enhance the student experience. In the past three years, there has been approximately £4 million spent on the campus, which has been led, in the majority, by student feedback. Examples of this investment, which you will see on your visit, are detailed below. Waves: our existing campus restaurant was redesigned and replaced with Waves restaurant, providing much-improved catering options. The Keith Donaldson Library underwent a refurbishment in 2010 and has quickly become the heart of the campus, where students can come for a single interface point. Cayley Hall has recently undergone a major refurbishment of the rooms and supporting infrastructure. Work is also ongoing to raise the standard of the University-managed sector, so that students have the option of good quality on-campus and off-campus accommodation. Sports: investment in the campus is ongoing, and this summer we are developing a floodlit third-generation multi-use games area and building a new outdoor changing block.
