Advice Centre, third floor, students’ union: open 10 am – 3 pm
Offering a free service which is run by the students’ union, the Advice Centre provides impartial, confidential advice and information to the students of the University of Hull and is usually the first port of call should you have a problem.
Art Gallery – Middleton Hall: open 9 am – 3.30 pm
View our art gallery, which specialises in paintings, sculpture, drawings and prints produced in Britain between 1890 and 1940.
Brynmor Jones Library: open 9 am – 1 pm
Enjoy panoramic views of the city from the top floor of our library, or simply browse the collection of over a million items that could help you with your study.
Holme House: open 9 am – 3 pm
Lights, camera, action! Visit our TV studio to see the excellent facilities available. You can even try your hand at TV production!
Language Institute – second floor, Ferens Building: open 11 am – 3 pm
Fancy learning Mandarin? Thinking of taking a language as a free elective? Then take a look around our dedicated Language Institute and the many facilities that are on offer to aid you in your multilingual journey.
South-East Asia Museum – first floor west, Wilberforce Building: open 9 am – 3 pm
Take time out in the peace and quiet of the museum, which exhibits ornate bridal head-dresses and shadow puppets from Indonesia and weapons of Borneo tribesmen.
Sports and Fitness Centre: open 9 am– 7 pm
With helpful, professionally trained staff, the Sports Centre’s facilities include a fully equipped fitness suite incorporating the latest in cardiovascular and resistance equipment. You are welcome to tour the facilities – just ask the staff at the centre’s reception desk for further information.
Waterstones bookshop: open 9 am – 4 pm
Whether it’s the latest bestseller or a core text book for your course, the Waterstones University of Hull team is dedicated to the world of books. The team can provide details of upcoming events, recommendations and reviews, a list of local authors and information on special deals in store.
