Rob McCrea
Rob is the Managing Director of HTM Authorising Services ( HTMAS ) with over 35 years of field experience and over 20 years as an Authorising Engineer ( AE ) and Authorised Person ( AP ) serving the healthcare industry internationally . HTMAS Ltd mission led by Rob has always remained the same , putting safety as the most important consideration in design , installation and maintenance to ensure that the patients receive the best possible care putting them first above everything else .
Rob has overseen over the last 30 years some of the largest Medical Gas projects both in the UK and abroad and has always ensured that one thing remains consistent and that is the safety and reliability of the medical gases installed to help support the staff , protect the patients , and improve the knowledge of the duty holder .
When Rob isn ’ t working out in the field , he is providing guidance and helping improve the knowledge of the next generation of individuals within the industry . For those that have worked with Rob his knowledge and experience exudes along with his caring and passion for the medical gas industry from plant to patient .
Chris Oakley
Chris is the training manager at HTMAS Ltd and training consultant for PPL Training . Chris is very passionate about the medical gas industry and the passing on of safe working systems and imparting his knowledge to all those whom he teaches . Chris is currently studying to complete his Authorising Engineer training following on from his training and experience as a Competent and Authorised Person in medical gases .
When Chris is not training he is an integral part of the company undertaking policy and procedure writing and reviews along with studying and researching the subjects to see where better safe practices can be introduced and patient safety improved . Chris also carries out safety and cylinder audits .
