Our one day City & Guilds Assured disinfection of hot and cold water systems course has been designed to provide you with the statutory , technical and practical information required to safely disinfect hot and cold water systems . Taught by industry professionals , throughout this course you will develop a thorough understanding of water system disinfection in accordance with technical documents : HSG274 Part 2 , BS 8558 and PD 855468 . Upon completing this course , you will know which chemicals to use and how to disinfect safely . This includes disinfection procedures using ; sodium hypochlorite , hydrogen peroxide , as well as subsequent water sampling and chemical measurement .
