On behalf of the National Board of Directors Fiscal Year 2017-2018,
I would like to convey our heartfelt congratulations tothe UAPAsia
Pacific Councilas you hold your Induction of Officers and Members on
April 10, 2018.
Today, we celebrate a wonderful conclusion to a very challenging yet successful and
fruitful year which, with your support, made and gave our beloved organization the
most coveted, PRC’s Outstanding Accredited Professional Organization of the Year
Award in 2017, for a record 6th time in our organization’s 43 years of existence and
history.
Once more, in just a few months ago, the Construction Industry Authority of the
Philippines (CIAP) in cooperation with Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Philippine Contractors Association,
the UAP has been awarded the very first Outstanding Accredited Professional Organization by the DTI-CIAP during the
2nd Philippine Construction Congress held on 28 November 2017 at the Philippine International Convention Center
among other reputable professional organizations.
I am truly honored, that the DTI-CIAP conferred the first time this award to our Organization recognizing our significant
contributions to the Philippine Construction Industry and in nation building over the years as an Accredited Professional
Organization (APO).
It is indeed that the UAP has been blessed, by good and noble leaders who have been working passionately and
selflessly to serve the best interest of our Organization, and it will be quite an achievement, to keep up the value and
standard from its inception.
To the elected and appointed officers of UAP Asia Pacific Council, I encourage you to be creative, resourceful, diligent,
patient and generous, for our great organization depends on your willingness to work with resolve and zeal, qualities
that we all have but must be polished to perfection to bring out the best in all of us, not only personally but for the
organization importantly.
We are architects, we build, we create, we change our surroundings, we make society develop, and we are catalyst of
change. Let us have a feeling of honest pride, genuine fellowship, and common loyalty shared by the love of the craft,
and of the organization.
Let us work in solidarity and sincerity in the heart towards one defined goal.Together, we will make great things happen.
I am hopeful that, together, we are “on the move” to make UAP a great organization…even better than it has ever been
before.
