How were characters affected by guilt?

secondary opinions

Tim Wise- Guilt or Responsibility, YouTube

In Tom Wise's video, Guilt or Responsibility, he discusses the different between guilt and responsibilty. His definition of guilt is what one feels for his actions. For example, if I were to break a window with a baseball, I would feel guilty for breaking the window. Wise defines responsibilty by how people react or take something based on a person's character. For example, if I got in a fender-bender that wasn't my fault I could either get really angry at the person for hitting me, or I could have a civil conversation, make sure the person is okay, and then go from there. In Macbeth, Macbeth is guily for the murders he has committed because it is a feeling he has for doing the action of killing someone. Macbeth is responsible for the actions he takes after his first "kill." Macbeth could have been remorseful but instead the power he has in murder takes over him and he continues to do this action.
