If you could go anywhere, and knew you wouldn't get ridiculed for who you are, would you go? Of course you would right? Well, that is the perfect way to describe the BE YOURSELF ORGANIZATION, founded by BRADLEY WILLIAMS of Atlanta, GA. Bradley describes the organization by quoting the late great Mahatma Gandhi "Be the change you want to see in the world."

We have the ability to change ourselves, and only we can do it. There can be no progress except that we make better use of our own energy, personal initiative and ability. Like Gandhi, Be Yourself teaches individuals how to learn from their own mistakes and conduct experiments on themselves, in order to uplift their own self-esteem.
Too often young children & young adults are teased and bullied. Sometimes the bullying is due to their sexual orientation, and sometimes it is for other reasons, but the fact still remains that bullying is wrong. Be Yourself works hard to limit the amount of bullying that goes on in schools, and works with other organizations to press schools to take responsibility for the bullying that happens under their care. Not only does Be Yourself focus on bullying, but it also works as a Support Group for the Gay Community.
Being part of the Gay Community is an everyday struggle that many do not understand. Be Yourself works with the young adults that may have a hard time coping with the changes, the ridicule, and etc.; and helps the get more comfortable, and more aware of the possible dangers of the LGBT Community.
