Due to winter style and this being our first magazine, the designing isn't great. Please excuse it, next month will be better!

You have been called for something greater than that. You have been called to serve the King of Kings.

Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle! He is my loving God and my fortress, my strong deliverer, my shield in whom I take refuge, who subdues people under me. Psalm 144:1-2

The King whom you are called to serve knows you personally. He knows exactly what you’re good at, what’s hard for you, your secret hopes and dreams. He will deliver you when you think that you can’t go on any more. He will be a shield that you can take refuge in. He will give you strength to face whatever’s going on in your life. He wants to be your friend, and He loves you with all his heart. The one thing He asks is that you surrender yourself completely to His command and love Him wholeheartedly.

The truth of the matter is, you do not have what it takes to be in His service. You must admit that you’re not good enough to make it on your own and let Him change your life. However, if you surrender your life to Him, he will change you and train your hands for war, your fingers for battle!

Who are you fighting against, though? Who is this King of kings and how do you know I’m not making all this up? Why do you need Him to change you? What happens when you join His service and how do you do it? What changes do you need to make to your life in order to follow Him? These are questions that I don’t think that I can answer in one short article. However, there is a book that has the answer to all of them, and many more questions you might have. It’s called the Bible, and it is the King’s letter to you. Yes, YOU; you personally. Get a Bible and get connected with a local church or talk to someone who knows this King if you want to know more. God bless you!
