our callings or gifting the purpose is always the same. To make Christ known.
God intends us all to be walking vessels of His goodness. Spreading the love of Christ to others. As we familiarise
ourselves with the gospel we shall discover a message worth living for. What is the gospel? Make sure you understand
the message we are to take to the world.
2 Timothy 4:2
“ Preach
the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and
careful instruction.”
Putting on the sandals is not just knowing what the gospel message is, but rather having a plan to share it with
others.
The Bible is very clear. A person receives eternal life simply and only by believing in Jesus for it. Faith alone in Christ
alone. That has always been and always will be the clear Gospel message. According to Ephesians 6:15, putting on the
sandals is the preparation of the Gospel. You put on the sandals when you prepare and plan to share the Gospel.
Bring good news of peace to a world that needs to hear!
