GOD'S GUIDE FOR LIVING

In the Bible you will also find many instructions for living, as well as the 10 Commandments. These are important to follow because God put them in place to protect us and also to encourage us to care for others and enlarge the Family of God. But remember, thankfully, our salvation is not dependent on us keeping them perfectly.

Again, because the Lord loves us so much He wants the best for us and knows that if we follow His laws we will be protected. For example, one of the 10 commandments is, “Do not commit adultery.” God desires to preserve marriages and save us from the pain that cheating can cause. He tells us, "Do not lie” because He knows lying hurts others and almost ALWAYS comes back to haunt the liar. You get the picture - God wants the best for you.
