Some think prayer is a duty. Others think of it as a quick fix or last resort. Many people are open to prayer, because they think the words they say have magical power. But actually the power of prayer comes from a faith and trust in a powerful God. Prayer is the ability to talk with your Heavenly Father and hear back from Him!
Jesus taught his followers how to pray constantly. Jesus said, “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." (Luke 11:9&10).
So, for what should you pray?
"If you need wisdom, ask God and it will be given to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask God, be sure that your faith is in Him alone and that your sole desire for wisdom is to glorify Him.
