So, what is your purpose?
The purpose of your life is to glorify and honor God in all you do. When we confess Jesus is Lord and believe God raised him from the dead we acknowledge our way of doing things is no longer the priority. We have accepted a life of following God, which is a process.
Take comfort in knowing that the Lord is working in you, giving you the desire and power to do what pleases Him, "for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13).
As believers, we will desire to live a life of thanksgiving to God for the gift of salvation. We do this by obeying Him and sharing His love with others. “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:36-39)
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
