You cannot call your self a hip hop fan and not know who M.O.P is or Mobb Deep. If you said Who? Delete this magazine and go play with your pokemon on your DS. We know M.O.P Billy Danze and Lil' Fame from songs like Heistmasters, Salute and Ante Up (Robbing-Hoodz Theory).
Now you have Mobb Deep members Havoc and Prodigy with cuts like Shook Ones Pt. II, Quiet Storm and G.O.D Pt III making a song together?
This could go so wrong or so right. Well from my perspective this is a hot track and I am not sure why it took us so long to hear it. The NY gritty grimy lyrics with the energy that M.O.P brings to a track all it is missing in my opinion is more. Not just one song with the Super Group but a whole album. I know some may say I don't think it would work. Well Shut up and listen to the track. The song is called Street Certified and in the words of M.O.P It's FIRE!!!!!!!!!
I give the song three out of four bars, the only reason for the three bars is the first verse starts off with a lack of energy.
