Let the audience know who you are what state you are in, and what office you are running for?

NIHLA JUDD, UTAH HOUSE DISTRICT 75

How long have you been in politics?

Unpaid Lobbyist at the Utah State Capital during the 1980's for family and moral issues.

Precinct Vice Chair 2010-2014

State and County delegate 2010

County delegate 2012

Independent American Party Candidate - Utah House of Representative 2014

Historical, Constitutional, Political Book Club Founder 2008-2014

What made you want to get into politics?

Unlike other parties, The Independent American Party does not run politicians. They search for honest statesmen who have integrity and who will vote for the Constitution every time. Four members of the executive committee called and invited me to run for office. I vehemently declined. One of them called me on filing deadline day and explained that he felt impressed to have me pray over the invitation.

What bothers you about the way things are going now with the government, both local and federal?

There is too much federal control taking over every aspect of our lives: education, banking, public lands, internet, etc. Utah and all of the other states need to understand that the Founders intended that the Federal Government be highly restricted to the enumerated powers granted to them and nothing else. Unfortunately when the Federal Government passes an unconstitutional law, the states are not resisting in the manner provided for them by the Founders: nullification. States do not have to implement unconstitutional law. Pushing back

and saying "no" is long overdue on behalf of the states.
