The Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Center has little to do with fashion and much more to do with harnessing the skills to build a strong community. We welcomed the students who came out to work with us embodying the center's value of community participation. That evening Mona’s words dispelled fear. She reminded us not to be wary of people with talents similar to our own. Underground Runway has been building a platform for unsigned and under recognized talent ever since.
