Before you read this issue, you need to know that this issue might be geared a little to the “left”
point of view, when it comes to art and politics. I’ll admit, I'm bias because, I identify as a Liberal
Democrat, so it isn't surprising that the artists that I interviewed share similar beliefs. If you
considered yourself as a conservative there could be material featured inside this magazine that will
not be to your liking. On the other hand if you are open to other people's opinions that are indifferent
from yours then you maybe enlighten.
The artists in this issue use their creative minds to express their own beliefs, on paper, canvas and a
brick wall. The artists I interviewed should be admired for their freedom of speech and mind provoking
artwork. In issue 2 I will showcase some of the artwork of 2016 that highlight politics and pop culture.
As an up in coming magazine editor, it was an honor to be able to interview these talented illustrator’s
opinions about Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, the #blacklivesmatter movement
and yes even Pokomon Go.
