RC-334 Respiratory Research ( 3 ) This course will address the principles and practice of performing / conducting research . The course will help the student identify , review and intelligently describe the results of selected cardiopulmonary journals and articles , as well as culminate in the provision of a comprehensive research project . Additionally , it will address the following issues : health promotion , community service , ethical and professional issues , GMERCYU learning outcomes , critical concerns of Mercy , and core values of a distinctive Mercy graduate . Special emphasis will be placed on preparing students for employment by engaging in job selection process , personal needs assessments , resume writing , and interviewing skills . Additionally , the course will serve as a review and a preparation for the credentialing process . Extensive coverage of computerized clinical simulations and case studies will be provided . Selected cardiorespiratory diseases and conditions will be covered in considerable detail .
