As a clinical specialist in surgery, Dr Yurkdes performs a range of surgical procedures and leads the hospital’ s surgical wound care and infection control units. He is also a coordinator in a national surgical-site-infection-control committee. With plans to sub-specialise in vascular surgery, Dr Yurkdes hopes to further improve care for his community.
