When we make you an offer , we carefully consider your individual circumstances . Our decision takes into account many additional factors to assess your potential including whether you live and work in the region , as well as your personal or family circumstances , which we assess using established data .
EU and international students
How to apply
Applications to full-time degree programmes are normally made through UCAS at ucas . com . UCAS sends your application to us for consideration and we ’ ll let you know as soon as we make a decision .

Applications for part-time and distance learning courses are made directly to the University at port . ac . uk / apply .

Writing your UCAS personal statement
Your UCAS personal statement is uniquely yours . It ’ s the story you tell when you apply to uni . But writing it can be tricky . There are things it needs to include and common mistakes to avoid . Our online Personal Statement Hub will give you all the tools and tips you need to write a story that does you justice .

Putting your portfolio at the heart of our creative offer
For some of our creative courses , you may get the opportunity to show your passion by submitting a portfolio as part of the consideration process . This will give you the chance to show your creative flair and dexterity within your chosen subject area .
If we recognise your talent and feel you display a passion for your own artistic development that will allow you to succeed and have support from our professionals , then we may make you an unconditional offer , subject to having the essential GCSEs for your chosen course .

International College Portsmouth ( ICP ) is an Associate College of the University of Portsmouth . International students who need additional English language or academic preparation to study at the University can apply to ICP , where they will receive language and academic support for entry onto their course .
