ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
When you apply to Monash University for an undergraduate course, you must satisfy all of the following requirements:
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
You must be at least 17 years of age to enrol in a Monash University undergraduate course. Some exemptions may apply. For further information, visit � monash. edu. my / requirement-age
ACADEMIC ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The methods for calculating entry scores for our undergraduate courses are based on a range of international senior secondary school, pre-university and foundation year qualifications. The course-specific pages in this guide outline the academic entry scores for the listed qualifications that apply to each undergraduate course.

• Score A Level grades as follows: A *( a *) = 5, A( a) = 5, B( b) = 4, C( c) = 3, D( d) = 2, E( e) = 1, U = 0.
• N( Narrow failure) and U( Unclassified) not to be included in the calculation.
• A maximum of 1 bonus point is offered when achieving A * in an A Level Subject.

* Subject examinations completed within two years may include more than one sitting. For example subject examinations in June 2019 until June 2021 are acceptable.
The Malaysian Qualification Agency( MQA) accepts a minimum D Grade in A Level to be equivalent to the STPM Pass grade. Generally, MQA requires students to have a minimum of two D Grades in A Level, unless a higher requirement is stated in the respective MQA program standards. However, applicants with only one E Grade out of the three best A Level subjects can still be considered by Monash University Malaysia, subject to meeting the entry requirements of both the University and MQA.
A Level students are required to obtain a minimum D Grade to meet the respective prerequisite subject requirements of the applied course, including English.

Monash University only accepts IGCSE First Language English( Subject Code 0500) which has the compulsory Listening and Speaking component in meeting the English language requirements.
International Baccalaureate( IB) Diploma
Total points as issued on the official final academic transcript( known as the IB Diploma Programme Results) issued by the International Baccalaureate Organization( IBO). Evidence of successful completion must be provided( i. e. Diploma Certificate issued by the IBO).
• Minimum English language requirement met by: – 4 in one of the following SL subjects: English A: Literature, or English A: Language and Literature, or Literature and Performance,
OR – 3 in one of the following HL subjects: English A: Literature, or English A: Language and Literature, OR – 5 in one of the following SL subjects: English AB, or English B, OR – 4 in the following HL subject: English B.
• Higher English language requirement met by: – 5 in one of the following SL subjects: English A: Literature, or English A: Language and Literature, or Literature and Performance,
