From the third year of my studies, my clinical years effectively functioned as work placements. Particularly in the fifth year, we were immersed in hospital settings full-time, learning to perform essential intern duties. These experiences honed my practical skills and deepened my understanding of medical practice beyond textbook knowledge.
Additionally, I briefly worked as a Personal Care Assistant in an aged care facility during my placement in Australia. I gained valuable insights into elderly patient care and developed a deep respect for those in nursing and personal care professions.”
