What ’ s this course about ?

Study two languages on a flexible course that lets you focus on your interests and ambitions . A year studying or working abroad will increase your cultural and linguistic awareness . You can study both of your languages at an advanced level , or start a new language as a beginner . You can choose to specialise in linguistics , translation and interpreting , business or teaching , with a special optional pathway saving you a year of study , earning you a bursary and enabling you to graduate as a qualified teacher .

104 – 112 points to include a minimum of 2 A levels , or equivalent , to include 32 points from a Modern Foreign Language ( French , German , Spanish , or English as a Foreign Language ).

Learn to communicate professionally in one or two languages . You can choose between French , German , Spanish , English as a foreign language or ( as a beginner ) Mandarin Chinese . Begin your studies either as a complete novice , or with some knowledge of the language , with the option to spend a year abroad if you choose . With an accelerated pathway to the career of your choice , you can opt to specialise in translation and interpreting , linguistics and society ,
