What ’ s this course about ?
Immerse yourself in study that can lead to an array of interesting careers . You will study the spoken and written language , and how they ’ re utilised in everything from digital promotion to forensic investigation . You ’ ll study topics including the relationships between language , the mind and society ; and how language varies through time , place , culture and identity . You ’ ll also explore language problems from a variety of professional contexts – from court to classroom , workplace and clinic . Discover new methods for analysing language , solve communication-based challenges , and learn the art of persuasion .
