Foundation degrees
Foundation degrees are higher education qualifications designed in consultation with employers . They ’ re designed to give you a broad range of professional skills and expertise , improve your career opportunities and boost your earning potential . They allow flexible methods of study , varying from two years full time , to three or four years part time .
We offer Foundation degrees in Business and Management , hosted at partner colleges , and in Early Years Care , and Education and Learning Support .

Top-up courses
If you ' ve already done some study at higher education level , our topup courses allow you to gain a full-honours degree in just one or two years . You might have completed an HND or a foundation degree , or done one or two years of study at another higher education institution .
For example , students who complete our HND Business at one of our partner colleges can top up to a full degree by joining a business top-up course at our main campus in Portsmouth .
