Human resource management is the strategic approach to the employment , development , training , retention and wellbeing of people . As a human resource manager you ' ll formulate policies that address key modern workplace issues such as flexible working , remote working , and equality and diversity , and you ' ll be leading on strategy to recruit and retain the right workforce .
