How it works
• You apply for a single honours degree , e . g . BA ( Hons ) History , which offers pathway options
• For your first term , you study that subject exclusively
• In January of year 1 , you have the option to choose to take a pathway option in year 2
• If you want to take a pathway option , you choose your second , ‘ minor ’ subject from a set list of alternatives
• You will study some elements of your minor subject during a year 1 module , so you ' ll have had some preparation by the time you start your pathway in year 2
• In January of year 2 , you decide whether to continue your pathway into year 3 or finish it at the end of year 2
• If you continue with your chosen pathway to the end of your course , you graduate with your single honours degree ‘ with ’ your chosen pathway subject , e . g . BA ( Hons ) English Literature with Media Studies
