Whether it’s the air we breathe, the food we
eat or the environment around us, biosciences
cover many areas of science which have an
impact on our everyday lives.
Our exciting bioscience subjects can be
taken on their own as Single Honours
programmes or in combination with other
subjects like Chemistry or Psychology to
create a programme tailored to your interests. our fantastic labs, working with state-of-the-
art equipment and developing cutting edge
techniques. Previous students have enjoyed
our opportunities for study abroad, industrial
placements and international projects.
You will focus in particular on human, animal
and plant life and may choose to study areas
from essential biochemistry, health and
disease, emotions, biodiversity, evolution or
our impact on the world around us. It all adds up to superb preparation for your
