Welcome Week Services Get Involved From the moment you arrive, KeeleSU will help you to get immersed into university life. There is so much planned including Freshers’ Fair and Sports Fair, Society Sign-up and taster sessions, ice-breaker events, trips and a range of different markets. KeeleSU offers a full range of services including a great shop, a print and copy shop, regular careers and job fairs, and an advice centre called ASK. KeeleSU has so much for you to get involved in. This includes being a Student Academic Representative, a member of a club or society, volunteering projects or being involved in one of the many student voice campaigns run each year. Social The venues team work really hard to provide a fantastic line-up of entertainment, hosting major artists as well as those up and coming. The award winning staff provide a great range of music across a variety of genres, so there is something to fit everyone's taste. Popular seasonal events include the Freshers’ Ball, Halloween Ball, Winter Ball, an impressive Refreshers’ line-up, and the fabulous summer party, Woodstoke, to round off the academic year. Eat and Drink There’s a wide range of award winning bars which are smart and comfortable enough to grace any high street, plus plentiful outlets serving good food. KeeleSU has won ‘Best Bar None’ Gold award for 2016 and 2017 as regional winners. Led by Students KeeleSU is led by students for students, and is governed by full-time elected officers alongside permanent, professional staff. It’s easy to get involved through forums, the committee and the student council.
