“Despite being the first in my family to go
to university, it was always something I'd
aspired to do. I was always curious about the
workings of the brain and the intricacies of
human behaviour, so began to search for a
course that enabled me to study these broad areas,
leading me to Neuroscience and Psychology.
The three month research placement, offered
through the School of Life Sciences, allowed
me to learn a great deal about research whilst
working at Univeriti Sains Malysia (SUM),
as well as presenting my project findings at
the end of the placement. The experience
was invaluable.”
