Prerequisites
Chemistry, Biology and a third subject (Physics or Maths) at Year 12 equivalent, with excellent results.
All applicants must complete the ISAT and be available for interviews if selected (www.acer.edu.au/isat). Forecast results are not accepted.
Applicants must be proficient in English. This can be demonstrated through one of the following:
n Studying English at Year 12 or equivalent –
n A minimum 'B' grade in GCE O Level English 1119 (SPM)
n An overall score of 7.0 or greater with no individual band less than 6.5 achieved in IELTS
n TOEFL Internet Based, an overall score of 94 or greater, 24 in writing, 19 in reading & not less than 20 in listening and speaking
n An overall score of 65 or above with no communication skills lower than 58 in Pearson Test of English (PTE)
n Grade ‘B’ in one of the following IGCSE subjects: Literature (English)
n Grade ‘A’ in IGCSE English as a Second Language
n Grade ‘B’ in one of the following GCE O Level subjects: English Language or Literature in English
n Grade ‘B’ in one of the following GCE AS Level subjects: General Paper, English Language or Language and Literature in English
n Grade ‘D’ in one of the following GCE A Level subjects: English Language or Literature in English
If an applicant has more than one English result within the last two years, the most recent will be considered for admission.
Monash English Bridging is not accepted for admission into this program.
Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements set by the Malaysian Medical Council.

Applicants must possess a bachelors degree and a major sequence in psychology accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC), or qualification assessed as equivalent
by the APAC. Admission to the honours year is determined solely by academic merit. The minimum requirement is an average grade of 70 percent in core psychology units at the third-year level.
In addition, the applicant must demonstrate a suitable background in research methods. Because of limitations in resources and availability of supervision, it may be necessary to limit entry.
This course is only available to Medical students. Students must have successfully completed:
n At least the first three years of the undergraduate Medicine at Monash University
n At least two years of the graduate Medicine at Monash University
n Three or more years of a Medical program from another institution deemed by the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences as equivalent.
