Industry exposure
Under the Professional Experience Placement
(PEP) program, you will have the opportunity
to undergo professional pharmacist training in
Year 3 and 4. This is part of the BPharm
(Hons) program and placements are
scheduled in your timetable.
During the placements, you’ll get the chance
to observe and assist the pharmacist in
day-to-day duties including ward rounds,
patient case review, conduct patient
counselling, prescription filling, dispensing
medications and checking for medication
errors. Our aim is to get you work-ready with
a better understanding of the role of
a pharmacist in the healthcare profession.

Placement Sites
You’ll be assigned to different training sites
for a wide range of experience working in
different settings, including:
