Introduction to Trauma Informed Care This course is designed to introduce students to

the meaning of trauma , the incidence and prevalence of trauma and the effects of trauma on human development . Students will learn what it means to provide client centered care in a trauma informed manner , and will be provided an introduction to evidence based trauma treatments . Active participation of students in this class will include open discussion of material presented as well as practical application of the course material . Selfassessment , awareness and growth are central to the student experience in this course .

Sports Psychology
This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the theories and concepts involved in the psychology of sport , a field of study in which the principles of psychology are applied in a sport setting . These principles ( which include but are not limited to goal setting , focus , motivation , and imagery ) are often applied to enhance the performance of teams and individuals . Additionally , the role of personality and social settings that influence thinking , performance , and the development of sportsmanship will be explored .
