Academic Standards / Grade Requirements :
Grades of “ C +” or higher are required in all nursing courses . For advancement each semester , a 2.67 cumulative GPA is required . Any student below the GPA of 2.67 at the end of the semester may not continue with nursing courses in the next semester .
A student may achieve less than a “ C +” in only one nursing course . Students who earn lower than a C + in a nursing course may repeat the course once and cannot progress in the sequential nursing clinical courses until they successfully complete the repeated course with a grade of “ C +” or higher . Students may only withdraw from each course once . Students may be part-time while repeating a course . The student will be placed on nursing academic probation after receiving one nursing course failure . If a student earns less than a “ C +” in any two nursing courses , they will be dismissed from the program .
