the Course Withdrawal to the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences for your withdrawal to become official . You cannot withdraw from a course via Colleague . If your form is received by the Office of Academic Affairs after the deadline , you are not allowed to withdraw from the course . If you stop attending class but do not officially withdraw from a course , you will receive an “ F ” on your permanent transcript for the course .

BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES
Degree : Minor Program Type : Term Program Modality : On-ground
Program Description : A student who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree in a program other than biology may earn a minor in biological science by completing 20-24 credits in biology .
Program Admissions Requirements and Procedures : Any student who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree other than in biology may apply to earn a minor in biological sciences . Students should speak with the coordinator of the Biology Program prior to completing the appropriate minor addition form .
Internal / External Transfers : A maximum of six credits may be transferred from another institution . All prerequisites for the chosen courses must be satisfied . To receive credit for courses taken elsewhere , submission of a transcript must be submitted , and the program may request a course syllabus to appropriately evaluate course equivalency .
Academic Standards / Grade Requirements : Grades of “ C ” or higher are required in each minor course ; C- grades are not acceptable . A student may achieve less than a “ C ” grade in only two courses , and they may repeat these courses only once .
Attendance Policies ( including Lab / Clinical Attendance Policies ): Students are expected to adhere to the attendance policies outlined by course instructors in individual courses . Attendance is required in all laboratory courses .
Academic Progress , ( Probation ), and Program Dismissal : Should a student fail to earn a grade of “ C ” or higher in any of the courses required for the minor , the student will not earn the minor .
