Image Evaluation I
This course is designed so that the student may begin
critical analysis of image quality based upon theories
learned and practice under direct supervision .
RDS-407
Clinical Education IV
Continuation of clinical education rotations gives the student the opportunity to gain knowledge and practice in performing radiographic procedures learned in the classroom and laboratory setting . The student will continue to advance in their skills and confidence . Competency exams are still in progress . The student slowly shifts to indirect supervision per JRCERT and program guidelines .
RDS-408
Radiographic Pathology
This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to pathology related to medical- surgical diseases and injury . Diseases that are demonstrated using radiographic procedures are the primary focus . The various modalities used to demonstrate pathologies are also discussed .
RDS-409
Advanced Imaging Techniques II
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge base of general radiographic equipment requirements and design . Included topics include : Image intensification , viewing and recording systems , digital fluoroscopy , linear tomography , mobile units and AEC devices .
RDS-410
Radiographic Proccedures IV Various forms of contrast media and its delivery are
reviewed in this course . The procedures involving the digestive , urinary and biliary systems are studied in detail .
